Bright Behaviour Support Services
Based in Ipswich, Queensland, Bright Behaviour Support Services proudly offers services in our dedicated therapy room or flexible outreach support to homes, early childhood services, schools, and community settings. We work with children, teens, and adults of all ages, providing therapeutic services that come to you—ensuring comfort, consistency, and meaningful connection. Through the power of play, relational approaches, and evidence-based techniques, we create a safe and supportive space where individuals can explore their emotions, process experiences, and feel deeply heard. Our sessions are designed to help participants make sense of their feelings, build emotional resilience, and gently navigate trauma, stress, or life changes. Whether in our dedicated therapy room in Ipswich, your home, your child’s daycare or kindergarten, or their school environment, we bring calm, understanding, and therapeutic support directly to where it is needed most.
At Bright Behaviour Support Services we provide a supportive environment where children can explore their feelings, express themselves freely, and process challenges they may not yet have the words to describe. Just as talk therapy helps adults work through experiences, play is a child’s natural language. Through symbolic play, creativity, and gentle guidance, children can process trauma, bullying, big emotions, family changes, anxiety, and everyday struggles in a way that feels developmentally appropriate and emotionally safe.
In our playroom, children are heard, valued, and understood. We honour their pace, their autonomy, and their unique ways of communicating. Using evidence-based Child-Centred Play Therapy approaches, we support children to build emotional resilience, develop coping and problem-solving skills, heal from trauma or overwhelming experiences, strengthen their sense of identity and self-worth, regulate emotions and behaviours, and feel seen, supported, and empowered.
In addition to our therapeutic outreach and play-based supports, we also offer a range of holistic services to meet the diverse needs of families and individuals. These include Prep Readiness Programs, Individual and Sibling Play Therapy Sessions, Counselling for Children, Teens, Adults, Families, and Couples, Professional Development Presentations within Early Childhood Education and Care settings, Filial Therapy Training for Parents and Caregivers, and Keyworker Support for NDIS participants. By integrating these services into our practice, we are able to support the whole family system and the broader community, creating lasting, positive change and helping individuals move toward calmer days, stronger relationships, and brighter futures.
