Meet Caitlin

Hi, I’m Caitlin. After many years of working closely with children, families, and Early Childhood Education and Care services, I saw first-hand the gaps in support that often exist and that’s what led me to create Bright Behaviour Support Services.

With a strong commitment to compassionate, trauma-informed, and genuinely accessible practice, Bright Behaviour Support Services is grounded in Child Centred Play Therapy, relational approaches, and a deep understanding that behaviour is a form of communication.

As a Child Centred Play Therapist, I believe strongly in the healing power of play, while also empowering parents and caregivers with insight, practical strategies, and hope. My services include Child Centred Play Therapy, counselling, Filial Therapy to build caregiver capacity, NDIS keyworker support, and professional development for Early Childhood Education and Care services, all tailored to individual needs and aligned with NDIS goals.

Drawing on over 17 years’ experience across early childhood education, leadership, and child protection, I work collaboratively with families, educators, and communities to create safe, connected environments where children feel understood, supported, and able to thrive toward a BRIGHT future.

Our Vision

To create a community where every child, adult, and family feels seen, supported, and empowered to thrive, emotionally, socially, and developmentally. We envision a world where early intervention, trauma-informed care, and inclusive education are accessible to everyone, creating a BRIGHT future and stronger relationships.

Our Mission

  • To provide high-quality, evidence-based therapeutic supports that honour each person’s unique strengths, needs, and lived experiences.

  • To build the capacity of families, educators, and communities through education, coaching, and collaborative partnerships.

  • To deliver services that are compassionate, culturally respectful, inclusive, and grounded in best practice.

  • To support individuals in understanding their emotions, building resilience, processing experiences, and developing lifelong skills for wellbeing.

  • To walk alongside NDIS participants and families with clarity, consistency, and whole-person support.

  • To create safe, supportive spaces whether at home, school, daycare, or in our outreach services—where healing, growth, and connection can flourish.

Play Is a Child’s Language as children don’t always have the words to explain how they’re feeling—but they can show us through play as we honour their pace, autonomy, and unique ways of communicating.
