About Bright Behaviour Support Services

Bright Behaviour Support Services was founded in 2025 by Caitlin Pearce, an experienced early childhood teacher, area manager, director and therapeutic practitioner with more than 17 years working alongside children, families, educators, and communities. After years of witnessing the gaps in support for children and the systems around them, Caitlin created Bright Behaviour Support Services with one purpose in mind: to offer compassionate, evidence-informed, genuinely accessible support for all individuals—no matter their background, ability, or story.

Grounded in trauma-informed practice, relational approaches, and a deep understanding of the “why” behind behaviour, Bright Behaviour Support Services exists to empower individuals and strengthen the environments where they live, learn, and grow. From Child Centred Play Therapy, Counselling, Filial Training Therapy for parents and caregivers, NDIS keyworker support to Professional Development in Early Childhood Education and Care services, our work is built on connection, respect, and meaningful change.

Our Vision

To create a community where every child, adult, and family feels seen, supported, and empowered to thrive, emotionally, socially, and developmentally. We envision a world where early intervention, trauma-informed care, and inclusive education are accessible to everyone, creating a BRIGHT future and stronger relationships.

Our Mission

  • To provide high-quality, evidence-based therapeutic supports that honour each person’s unique strengths, needs, and lived experiences.

  • To build the capacity of families, educators, and communities through education, coaching, and collaborative partnerships.

  • To deliver services that are compassionate, culturally respectful, inclusive, and grounded in best practice.

  • To support individuals in understanding their emotions, building resilience, processing experiences, and developing lifelong skills for wellbeing.

  • To walk alongside NDIS participants and families with clarity, consistency, and whole-person support.

  • To create safe, supportive spaces—whether at home, school, daycare, or in our outreach services—where healing, growth, and connection can flourish.

Caitlin is a Qualified Associate Play Therapist and the founder of Bright Behaviour Support Services. Her passion for supporting children and families has grown from over 17 years working in the Early Childhood Education and Care sector, where she served as an educator, lead educator, centre director and area manager. Throughout her career, Caitlin had the privilege of walking alongside hundreds of children and their families each one shaping the way she understands behaviour, connection, trauma, and the powerful role of relationships in healing.

Caitlin’s work is also deeply influenced by her own experience as a parent to neurodivergent children. She understands both the challenges and the incredible strengths that neurodiversity brings to a family having 5 children. This lived experience fuels Caitlin’s advocacy, shapes her therapeutic approach, and strengthens her commitment to providing respectful, trauma-informed, neuro-affirming support for every child she meets.

As a play therapist, she believes strongly in the healing power of play. Play offers children a safe, natural way to express emotions, process experiences, build confidence, and make sense of the world around them. Through a gentle, relationship-based approach, she creates spaces where children feel seen, understood, and supported—while empowering parents and caregivers with insight, strategies, and hope.

At the heart of her work is a belief in genuine connection, compassion, and collaboration. She is passionate about helping children feel safe in their bodies, helping families feel confident and empowered, and helping educators and communities create environments where every child can thrive for a BRIGHT future.
